About the role:

This is a key role for the company as you’ll be responsible for maintaining the finances of the company, including managing profit and loss reports, filing VAT returns, payroll and managing the sale and purchase ledgers. You will also report regularly to the company directors about the financial position of the company and liaise with our accountant.

About you:

You need to understand and have proven experience of working on company accounts, including VAT, profit and loss, Balance sheets and Payroll. You should be able to quickly process data and meet all essential deadlines laid out by the company and HMRC. This role deals with confidential information so discretion is essential.

You should also understand the difference between profit and cash-flow and ensure that both remain healthy.

We use Quickbooks, so experience of using this software would be beneficial. Our company also has several revenue streams as well as payment providers so you should be able to work across different platforms including PayPal.

You should also be confident in being able to present financial reports to your manager and company directors.

We're looking for reliable people to help us out in our warehouse. You'll be based in Loughborough Town Centre and helping us pick and pack orders for our direct and trade customers as well as doing some piece work (making up our products). We are looking for people that can commit to part-time hours but also have the ability to work additional hours during busy periods.

We're stocked in some of the most recognisable brands for our industry including Paperchase, Scribbler, Papyrus, Urban Outfitters and ASOS. We're also in hundreds of other great stockists across the world - but we know we can do better and become one of the leading greeting card and stationery brands!

Our B2C sales are equally as important to the company. We want to be leading the industry and competing with the best stationery and gift sites around. Our stationery subscription service continues to grow and receives excellent reviews, but we're looking for someone who can help us take it to the level.
